Our story
A restaurant designed like a party among friends: plates to share, a sunny terrace and music that makes you want to stay.
ZaZ is a Moroccan and Mediterranean eatery in the heart of Tamraght, the surf village north of Agadir. Here, each dish is tenderly prepared to be packed with flavour and reminiscent of holidays in the sun.
Our menu is full of small plates, ideal for snacking or sharing: we recommend three plates per person, or five for a couple. There are no starters or mains: food comes as it is ready from the kitchen, for a true mezze experience.
The house's name, « Zaz. زاز », reads the same both ways and in both alphabets. It's our way of saying everyone is welcome, from the passing surfer to the family from Agadir.
What guides every plate leaving our kitchen.
House-made beef merguez, falafel rolled daily, bastilla shaped by hand by Mama Saidia: we take the time to do things properly.
Small plates that arrive when they're ready, to pick from in the middle of the table. Three per person, and the conversation does the rest.
Our alcohol-free cocktails pair aromatic spices with tangy fresh fruit: a flavour adventure without a drop of alcohol.
Morocco has a rich heritage of African and Arab influences, and you can hear it: our playlists blend Afro & Arab beats, established and up-and-coming artists.

Behind the pass, a team that cooks like at home: chicken rfissa, our award-winning dish and Moroccan mums' favourite, Mama Saidia's bastilla, the signature spice blend of our chicken brochette. On the floor and at the bar, the same energy: smiles, playlists and well-shaken mocktails.
Every bite is a journey through flavour and culture.
We're always on the lookout for amazing people who approach the last hour of service with the same energy as the first. Our mission: an exceptional experience for every guest. ZaZ is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds: write to us at [email protected].
